Registration Information
We are excited to announce that the third annual Race 4 Hope will take place on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 at North Park Mall in Joplin, Missouri. The proceeds from the race will benefit the HOPE4You Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization with the mission of working with the local area to raise awareness, provide support, offer education and instill HOPE for those afflicted with and affected by Breast Cancer. The proceeds from last year have helped the following organizations: Early Detection Works of Kansas and Joplin Community Clinic. In addition, we have offered education at many community events throughout the year.
Our Honorary Survivor Chairperson for the race will be Kristi Seibert. She is a two and half year breast cancer survivor. The event promises to be an even bigger success than the last two years with your involvement and participation.
Entry Fees:
- Under 12 - $15
- 12 and Up - $25.00
- Breast Cancer Survivor - $10.00
- Crib Runners $25.00
In order to reach our goals for the race, we are calling upon businesses and individuals from our Four State Community to serve as sponsors. The available sponsorship levels are:
- Fuchsia Pacesetter ($1000 and above) - Pacesetters will be recognized on the Race 4 Hope T-shirt and will also be permitted to set up a booth or tent at the race site. Additionally, our Pacesetters will be acknowledged on our website, in materials (i.e., poster, signage) used by HOPE4You to promote the race, as well as in any media promotions that are within the control of HOPE4You. Deadline is March 1st, 2010.
- Hot Pink Runner ($500 Donation)-Runners will be recognized with small signs along the race course and will be permitted to set up a booth or tent at the race site.
- Rose Joggers ($100 Donation ) - Joggers will be permitted to set up a booth or tent at the race site.
- Think Pink Groupies ($25 Registration Fee per team member and a Team Commitment to raise additional funds.) -At this level we are looking for some healthy competition in making this even more fun than last year by competing to complete the race and raise money for those we love and honor. The top three fundraising teams will be receiving awards and special prizes. (See Team Instructions in Packet.)
- Pale Pink Crib Runners (Commit to donate $25 for sleeping in the day of the race.) At this level, you will receive recognition via the website.
Outside of these levels, we are also looking for In Kind Donations for various items for the Race 4 Hope including water, food, balloons, ice, signage, printing, a photographer; help with race day entertainment, and items for the race packets. The In Kind donors will be acknowledged in the race packet or as otherwise appropriate, depending on the nature of the items donated.
